About Bolade Agbola
Bolade Agbola is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LAM Agro Consult Limited, a Multi-disciplinary Agriculture and Agribusiness Consultants, and LAM Business Solutions, a Capacity Development and Training Consultants.
He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Agricultural Economics from University of Ibadan in 1982 and 1984 respectively. He is a fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB) and Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS) He is a Certified Center for Management Development (CMD)Trainer. He was the pioneer Agricultural Officer of the defunct Nigeria Arab Bank (now part of UBA PLC).
He is an accredited Center For Management Development (CMD) Trainer and FAA Malaysia Certified Training Professional (FCTP).
He authored the book - Agricultural Finance -A Practical Guide for Lenders and Entrepreneurs.
Bolade worked with several banks for 20 years and exited the industry in 2003 as an Assistant General Manager, Continental Trust bank (now part of UBA PLC). He served in diverse capacities in various banks such as Agricultural Officer, Credit and Marketing Officer, Branch Manager, Head Financial Services, Head Corporate and Commercial Banking, Head Corporate Banking and Group Head Business Development. He pioneered development of innovative financial products such as the small farmers loan scheme (1986) temporary over drafts (TOD) product for market traders (1998) and handled from origination to collection many land mark financial deals covering leases, project finance, trade finance and loan syndication.
He was an Executive Director of Cashcraft Securities Limited 2009-2017 as a Broker/dealer and member of Nigeria Stock Exchange. He is currently a sponsored individual / Non-Executive Director with Fortress Capital Limited - a Dealing Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange and a non-executive Director with First African Coconuts Limited
